Installation is its own line at a published rate, never folded into the fabrication price — you see both numbers, and the fabrication figure is the fabrication figure. What the rate covers is setting the stone: place, seam, level and secure. What it does not cover is everything a square-foot count cannot see from here — tearing out and hauling away the old tops, plumbing and electrical disconnect, cabinet levelling. Those are quoted per job, because a third-floor walk-up with a waterfall island is not a ground-floor galley and averaging the two is how people end up surprised.

The square-foot rate covers the ordinary version of this job. The list above is what turns an ordinary one into something else, and it is why the crew is booked after somebody has looked — not before. A site visit confirms the published number or tells you which separate line applies; it is not how you find out what installation costs.
